Do you allow the setup of crontabs?

Yes. Our control panel provides a page where you can add and modify crontabs anytime. Crontabs are not limited in anyway.

cPanel

Locate the Cron Jobs icon under the Advanced section of cPanel. There are samples you can choose for the frequency. All paths to files need to be absolute server paths. Your top level will be in this format: /home/username/ (be sure to replace "username" with your lowercase cPanel user name).

You can create a scheduled task to check website availability on a regular basis, thus loading the URL and executing any scripts inside.
