For users using Visual Studio 2005 with an SQL 2008 database, you may run into the following error: This server version is not supported. Only servers up to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 are supported. If you have a specific need Visual Studio 2005 which Visual Studio 2008 does not provide you, then you should be able to by pass this error by running the following hotfix provided by Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e1109aef-1aa2-408d-aa0f-9df094f993bf&displaylang=en
