Transferring a .co.uk domain

Transferring a .co.uk domain is different than a .com .net etc…   .co.uk is assigned to the registrar by an IPS Tag.  

To transfer your .co.uk domain to Arvixe you will need to

  1. Have the current Registrar  point the domain to our servers. This is done by changing the current name servers to the name servers that are found in the Account information email that was sent to you when you signed up for hosting.  Doing this first will have the site running  within 2 - 4 hrs in most cases.
  2. Have the current registrar change the IPS tag to: TUCOWS-CA
  3. Submit a trouble ticket  telling us that the tag has been changed and that you would like to transfer the domain

We will then process the transfer and associate the domain with your account.

I'm looking at transferring <> 80 .co.uk domains. Is there a batch process available?

No, unfortunately there is not a batch process for multiple domain transfers,

I'm looking at transferring : www.orbit-computer-solutions.com domains from just host. the sites were built using RVsitebuilder, is it possible...do your support rvsitebuilder?

I have created website and published it on paultuppeny.co.uk domain. when searching for it, domain can be found but access is denied. Is this something to do with ,co.uk domain issues?

The reason for access denied can vary. Most commonly on Windows, it's due to directory browsing not being enabled, and or a default document not being defined. On linux, this is most commonly due to a deny from all rule or something similar in your .htaccess. If you have been unable to figure this out, please do not hesitate to contact our support for assistance.

i would like to transfer a domain with .com.sa . what are the requirements and the process to do it.

A domain transfer can be initiated from https://www.arvixe.com/domains.php. On this page you can see a list of all available extensions which you can transfer to Arvixe. Even if you do not transfer the domain to Arvixe, you can still make use of our hosting by simply pointing it to our name servers.
