Configure Google Android for Email

Setup Email on Android

This article will cover setting up email on the stock Android Email client, and assumes that you have already created an email address in cPanel or Plesk.  You can also locate your incoming and outgoing servers using this article.

 

  1. Open the stock email client
  2. Enter your email address, password, and click Next
  3. Select IMAP
  4. Provide the following information:
    • Username - The full email address
    • Password - The password for the email address
    • IMAP server - mail.yourdomain.com
    • Port - 143
    • IMAP path prefix - Leave this space blank
  5. Click Next to authenticate and complete the setup
