How to Create and Modify Hosting Plans - WSP

A Hosting Plan is a set of hosting features and their corresponding quotas.  Hosting plans are assigned and used a template for creating customer hosting spaces(Control Panels) in WebsitePanel.

Create a Hosting Plan

To create a hosting plan:

  1. Log into the server as serveradmin (https://servername or https://serverip)
  2. Click Hosting Plans under the Account menu sidebar
  3. Click Create Hosting Plan

  4. Provide the following information:
    • Plan Name: Provide a plan name
    • Plan Description: Provide a brief description of plan
    • Target Server: Use the dropdown menu to select Server Resources
    • Quotas: Select the resources and quotas for the plan in question
  5. Click Save

Modify a Hosting Plan

To modify a hosting plan:

  1. Log into the server as serveradmin (https://servername or https://serverip)
  2. Click Hosting Plans under the Account menu sidebar
  3. Click on the Hosting Plan needing a modification under the Name column
  4. Modify the following:
    • Plan Name
    • Plan Description
    • Target Server: Leave this setting as Server Resources
    • Quotas
  5. Click Save

Please note that modifying the quotas will modify the quotas for all hosting spaces assigned.

Delete a Hosting Plan

To delete a hosting plan:

  1. Log into the server as serveradmin (https://servername or https://serverip)
  2. Click Hosting Plans under the Account menu sidebar
  3. Click the Hosting Plan to delete under the Name column
  4. Navigate to the bottom of the page and click Delete

  5. Click OK in the dialog box to confirm the deletion
