Why can't I create a db using phpMyAdmin?

Before you can use phpMyAdmin, you first need to create a database, a database user and set privileges for that user to the database.

Create the db, user and privileges: cPanel -> Databases -> MySQL Databases icon
Then manage your db: cPanel -> Databases -> phpMyAdmin icon
